Watch: California Cop Murders Unarmed High School Student

News, Police Brutality

A Huntington Beach, California police officer was caught on video shooting a high school student several times in front of a 7-11 after struggling with him on the ground early Friday morning.

The police department has not released many details yet but confirmed the teen died at a hospital after being shot multiple times.

The shooting occurred at the 7-Eleven at 6012 Edinger Ave., reported KTLA.

A woman who heard the shots posted on Facebook that other students in the area confirmed he was a junior at Marina High School.

There is no evidence in the videos to suggest the teen was armed, and he was not making any threatening move or moving towards the officer when he was gunned down.

The video shows the teen pulling something from the officer’s belt while the officer is on top of him, but it is not clear what that object is.

But the man who recorded the video tweeted that it was the officer’s “clip,” meaning the magazine for his gun. This by itself is harmless.

The cop then jumps off him and pull his gun out, telling him to get down while shooting him several times.

The teen then spins around slowly as he is being killed, then falls against the wall and hits the ground.
