Sheriff Apologizes For ‘All Lives Splatter’ Facebook Post Showing Car Running Over Protesters

Just days after a white supremacist in Vancouver, Washington tried to run over Antifa protesters, this Washington sheriff decided to post a ridiculous meme suggesting no one cares about the lives of those willing to stand up against social injustices.

The sheriff has apologized after a horrifying meme was posted Monday to his county’s Facebook page. It showed protesters being run over by a vehicle with the title, “All Lives Splatter.”

“Nobody cares about your protest,” the meme continued. “Keep your ass out of the road.”

The one who posted it also added,  “I don’t wish harm on anyone … but protesters don’t belong in the road!”

The Seattle Post-Intelligencer reported it was a county employee who shared the photo on the Chelan County Emergency Management page. The photo was from a Facebook group book called: “Libtards; ya gotta love ’em!”

The post was removed after public outrage, but the county employee who posted the ridiculous meme has not yet been identified.

Chelan County Sheriff Brian Burnett issued an apology Monday, saying that the “noncommissioned” employee meant to share it on a personal account. This of course does not make it better.

“Staff at Chelan County Emergency Management feel terrible that this inappropriate and hurtful post made it onto the Facebook page,” Burnett wrote in the news release. “Changes have already been made in procedure to assure nothing like this will ever occur in the future.”
