Police have finally arrested someone for the vicious attack on Deandre Harris during the Unite The Right white supremacist rally in Charlottesville, VA.
Mason, Ohio resident Daniel Borden, 18, was arrested Friday evening and charged with malicious wounding, reported WCPO.
Harris was brutally assaulted by a group of white supremacists in a parking garage.
“I’m on my knees just getting beat with poles and signs and being kicked and hit,” Harris said. “It’s crazy. I have eight staples in my head, a broken wrist and a chipped tooth,”
Other men were featured in the photo taken by photographer Zach Roberts, so far Borden is the only one that was arrested, and is currently being held at the Hamilton County Justice Center in Ohio.
“Our No. 1 goal is to identify all of the people involved in Mr. Harris’s attack,” Harris’ attorney, Lee Merritt said.
Charlottesville police are also looking for 33-year-old Alex Michael Ramos, of Marietta, Georgia. Ramos is wanted for malicious wounding in the same attack.
Shortly after marching with white supremacists and assaulting a black counter-protester, he made a viral video talking about how he is not racist because he is Puerto Rican.
