US Airstrikes In Raqqa, Syria Target Residential Buildings, Killing at Least 43

The US continues to lead terrorist attacks in Syria, while condemning terrorist attacks by ISIS.

At least 43 people were slaughtered in US airstrikes in the Syrian province of Raqqah.

Syrian state TV said the air raids hit Raqqah’s Jomeili neighborhood on Saturday, adding that children were among the victims, according to Press TV.

The airstrikes targeted the al-Jamili building in Raqqa, where most of those killed were women and children.

US air strikes have killed at least 225 civilians in Syria between April 23 and May 23 alone, according to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR).

Only a day before this residential area was targeted for terrorism, 20 civilians were killed when a U.S.-led airstrike targeted residential buildings in Raqqa, including a hospital and a hotel.

Last Sunday, 20 civilians were killed by similar airstrikes in Raqqa, and last Thursday, 35 civilians were killed by airstrikes on IS-held city of Mayadeen in the eastern province of Deir al-Zour.
