Apparently, the Trump administration’s retaliation against Syria following the chemical weapons attack that left nearly 100 civilians dead this week, was a pre-planned endeavor.

A Twitter account said to be run by White House employees that leaks information it believes is important for the American people to be aware of regarding the Trump administration, predicted the beginning of “World War 3” — months in advance.

@RogueLeaks posted the following tweet on February 1, 2017, seemingly pleading with Americans to call the Trump administration out for its archaic governing style:

‘April 7, 2017 is the day they are planning to start #WW3 but we can stop them by calling it out. #LockThemUp. Please friends, this is urgent.’

Late Thursday evening, President Trump authorized a military airstrike on a Syrian airbase thought to be responsible for the chemical weapons attack. Due to time zone differences, although the strike took place on April 6 in Washington, D.C., it was actually the morning of April 7 in Syria at the time of the attack, as the Palmer Report notes.

Regarding the attack, Trump said:

‘Tonight, I ordered a targeted military strike on the airfield in Syria from where the chemical attack was launched. There can be no dispute that Syria used banned chemical weapons, violated its obligations under the chemical weapons convention and ignored the urging on the UN Security Council. Years of previous attempts at changing Assad’s behavior have all failed and failed very dramatically.’

The airstrike occurred at 8:40 p.m., or 3:40 a.m. in Syria. 59 Tomahawk cruise missiles were launched off of warships in the Eastern Mediterranean. It targeted aircraft, aircraft shelters, petroleum storage, ammunition supple bunkers and air defense systems, according to reports from CNN.

Capt. Jeff Davis, a Pentagon spokesman told CNN:

‘Initial indications are that this strike has severely damaged or destroyed Syrian aircraft and support infrastructure and equipment at Shayrat Airfield, reducing the Syrian government’s ability to deliver chemical weapons.’

Although Syria isn’t specified in the original @RogueLeaks tweet, it’s one of the few countries the United States has the potential to go to war with, given Russia’s involvement in the nation.

If the attack on Syria was pre-planned remains to be seen at this point, and is merely a rumor for now. But if @RogueLeaks continues to accurately predict future moves on the part of the Trump administration, then the truth regarding the airstrike on Syria may finally surface.
