The KKK Announces Cross Burning Rally in North Carolina

News, Race and Ethnicity, Racism and Hate Groups

With the rapidly increasing bigotry and hatred brought by the Trump Presidency, the KKK is again bold enough to have a cross burning ceremony to celebrate their terrorist ideology.

Resistance Report reported a flyer for the Loyal White Knights of theKu Klux Klan is circulating in rural North Carolina, advertising not only a “klavern meeting” with speeches and dinner for “WHITES ONLY,” but a “CROSSLIGHTING AT DARK.”

The Raleigh News and Observer reported the Loyal White Knights are busy organizing in the northern part of North Carolina, near the Virginia border. They recently held a parade through Roxboro, North Carolina, to celebrate the victory of their champion, Donald Trump. Over 100 people attended the racist parade.

They planned a parade through multiple towns on Dec 3, but they were shut down by protesters who did not share the racist ideas of the KKK. The Klan members fled to Roxboro and drove through town yelling “White Power.”

Some rural municipalities oppose the rising tide of bigotry flooding the United States. In Whitefish, Montana, where white supremacist Richard Spencer lives with his mother, a planned armed march of white nationalists was soundly thwarted by an organic, grassroots campaign to spread messages of love directed at Jewish people and other minorities.

Cross-burning is a traditional act of the KKK, who would typically burn large wooden crosses on the property of African Americans or social justice activists as a form of intimidation.

For anyone who opposes the KKK and their hateful intimidation tactics and threats, you know where this meeting is expected to happen.  Help spread this news to anyone who might oppose this terrorist organization.
