Mexico’s Former President to Trump: "I’m Not Paying For That F*king Wall"

Government, World News

Vicente Fox Quesada, the former president of Mexico, insists that President-Elect Donald Trump is deceiving the American people about who is going to pay for the border wall.
With absolutely no reason to believe that another country would willingly pay for something they don’t want, Trump continues to make bold claims about the wall.
Trump took to Twitter on Friday to clarify his stance on the wall, insisting that it would be built with taxpayer money but that Mexico would reimburse the U.S.: “The dishonest media does not report that any money spent on building the Great Wall (for sake of speed), will be paid back by Mexico later!”

But Quesada took to Twitter to contradict Trump and tell him not to lie to the US taxpayers.

“Trump may ask whoever he wants, but still neither myself nor Mexico are going to pay for his racist monument,” Fox tweeted earlier in the week. “Another promise he can’t keep.” Reports The Hill.
However, The Grio reports that Republican New York Rep. Chris Collins, the congressional liaison for the Trump transition team, believes that Trump will be able to bully Mexico into paying for the wall.
“When you understand that Mexico’s economy is dependent upon U.S. consumers, Donald Trump has all the cards he needs to play,” Collins told CNN’s Alisyn Camerota on New Day. “On the trade negotiation side, I don’t think it’s that difficult for Donald Trump to convince Mexico that it’s in their best interest to reimburse us for building the wall.”
